For people who want to work from home, online businesses can be a perfect solution. Not only can the work be done at home (or at a coffee shop, library, while traveling, etc..), they are typically very inexpensive to start.
Many entrepreneurs run their internet businesses without having to buy products, and there is very little cost in the way of supplies, equipment and staff. Although some online stores require shop owners to carry lots of inventory, this is not a requirement for all businesses. For example, some online store owners work exclusively with drop shippers so they don’t have to purchase any products.
What is required, however, is a computer and internet connection. For people with no computer and limited funds, libraries can be a perfect solution. Many public libraries offer free computer use with internet connectivity for limited time periods. This is not ideal for long-term use, but for new entrepreneurs who simply want help getting started so they can make some money, this is an easy and viable solution.
